Description
Memorial Middle School math club is a club open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. During the meetings students are challenged to complete strategic games, puzzles, and problems. During the year several competitions will be held. Students can compete in a chess tournament, an Othello tournament, a 24 tournament, and a Krypto tournament. Students should join if they want to have fun while learning key math skills.

Criteria for Membership
Open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.

Involvement Expectation
As an active club member, you are expected to attend at least 5 meetings throughout the year. Math club meetings are on Wednesdays from 2:35 - 3:15.

Advisor Biography
Ms. Bromberg is the advisor of the math club. She has been a mathematics teacher at Memorial Middle School for 18 years after graduating from Towson University. She has taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math at Memorial. She loves teaching math and figuring out challenging math puzzles and problems. She is very competitive and loves to challenge students to a game.
