Each and Every One of You Matter!

Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope you, your families, and friends enjoy this winter season!
Your children are the world's greatest of blessings! May you enjoy memories made with the coming of each new season to last a lifetime!
Key Prevention Strategies During The Winter Months:
- Vaccination: Annual flu shots are the most reliable defense, ideally by the end of October.
- Hygiene Habits: Teach children to wash hands with soap and water frequently, especially before meals, and to avoid touching their eyes, nose, or mouth. Use hand sanitizer (at least 60% alcohol) when soap is not available.
- Avoid Exposure: Steer clear of close contact with sick individuals, and avoid sharing drinks, food, or toys.
- Surface Cleaning: Regularly disinfect frequently touched items such as toys, doorknobs, and phones.
- Immune Support: Encourage sufficient sleep, nutritious meals (fruits/vegetables), and physical activity.
Please know that the State of New Jersey, Department of Health and Senior Services, has mandated that children born after January 1997, and entering 6th grade must receive a booster dose of Diphtheria, Pertussis and Tetanus (Tdap) and on dose of the Meningococcal vaccine prior to the start of the 2025-2026 school year. The form to be filled out by your child's medical provider is attached below.
